Jane is passionate about magnifying potential within teams, to deliver impactful results.

Prior to joining Hill Robinson in March 2021, Jane held Executive positions across a multitude of entrepreneurial owner led businesses in South Africa.

Jane sat on the Board of the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber, making history as the first female to hold an executive position in 150 years. Notable of Jane’s career to date, she was awarded South Africa’s Most Influential Businesswoman in the SME sector by CEO magazine in 2021.

Jane believes that the ability to attract, grow and retain top talent is key for any organisation to succeed, and this is central to her role as Chief People Officer at Hill Robinson. Seeking to drive positive change, Jane’s focus is on nurturing a culture of motivated and high performing teams who are empowered to achieve results utilising their talents and influence.

Always with an eye on the bigger picture, Jane is adept at collaborating with stakeholders to build robust relationships and ensure cohesive synergy across different business areas. With her client centric approach, she will challenge thinking and seek ways to simplify and enhance the service experience.

Born in Scotland and raised in South Africa, Jane speaks English and Afrikaans.
