Yacht Manager – Fort Lauderdale, USA

We are looking for an experienced Yacht Manager to join our Fort Lauderdale office. A successful Yacht Manager with Hill Robinson USA will be able to demonstrate significant experience and knowledge of the yachting industry. This position involves assisting our fleet of yachts with Yacht and Financial Administration, Safety Administration and Technical Support, Crew Management, Shore Support and maintaining company yacht files. Head of Crew Recruitment – Antibes or Monaco

We have a great opportunity for a Head of Crew Recruitment based either Monaco or Antibes. This role is responsible for leading and delivering our Yacht Crew resourcing requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and continuously improve the delivery of the recruitment strategy for HR Crew
  • Day to day leadership, coaching and development of the global Crew Resourcing Team
  • Delivery of resourcing, both quantity and quality, meeting the highest expectations of clients
  • Development of resourcing outside our immediate client groups
  • Effective communication to all stakeholders
  • Administration and analysis of reporting
  • Continuously streamline recruitment processes to ensure improved quality and customer focus

Experience & skills:

  • At least 2 years resourcing experience or experience of Yacht Management or similar
  • Experience in leading a team would be highly advantageous
  • You should enjoy ‘rolling up your sleeves’ as well as operating at a more strategic level

Yacht accountant – Antibes

We have an opportunity for a Yacht Accountant based in our Antibes office.

You will assist the Yacht Manager based in Antibes, but you will work daily with colleagues across the international Group.

Your role is essential to the business and your responsibilities will include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with other members of the team, the Yacht Accountant is responsible for assisting the Yacht Manager to compile client-focused reports providing economic analysis of each vessel and exploring areas for improvements that could lead to potential cost savings and improved efficiencies across the fleet.
  • Funding/Payments – Continual monitoring of funds position and constant liaison with the Yacht Manager, Fleet Superintendent and owning company.
  • Working with Yacht Manager and, in some cases, the Captain, Technical/Project Manager, Fleet Superintendent and the Owning Company, approve and prioritise payments according to funds available and current requirements.
  • Provide information as required to enable the Yacht Manager(s) to establish, monitor and analyse monthly budgets, communicate/ anticipate expenditure, purchasing and spending thresholds, approve invoices, advise on monthly funding requests.
  • Working with the Yacht Manager and other parties eg Captains, Pursers, Crew Manager, Training & Development Manager, Technical/Project Managers prepare the budget for the year ahead.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Experience of working in an accounts team would be desirable
  • Full command of English language – written and spoken.
  • Working knowledge of French – spoken essential; written an advantage.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office – Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc., QuickBooks.
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to liaise in a professional manner with Captains, colleagues and other contacts as may be required.

Yacht manager – Antibes

We are looking for an experienced Yacht Manager to join our Antibes office. Your role is essential to the business and your responsibilities will include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with other members of the team, the Yacht Manager is responsible for various tasks as required for the operation of their assigned yachts. These tasks may vary depending on the yachts assigned and are as defined in the various Company procedures issued
  • Compile Client focused reports providing economic analysis of each vessel at the same time exploring areas for improvements that could lead to potential cost savings and improved efficiencies across the fleet
  • To communicate openly with other members of the team, keeping them fully informed of yacht itineraries, significant issues, crew changes etc.
  • Ensure common working practices and reporting formats are adhered to and deadlines are maintained and met
  • To assist other Yacht Manager(s) / colleagues as may be deemed necessary

Experience & skills:

  • Previous experience in Yacht Management would be an advantage / experience working within a Yacht Management team
  • Extremely customer service oriented
  • Able to demonstrate to collaborate with a team
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible with great organisational skills

Sales Broker – Monaco

We are looking for an experienced Sales Broker to join our team in Monaco.

The main areas of responsibility include:

  • Generate sales and business as per targets set;
  • Prepare accurate and well-presented selection of available yachts to clients;
  • Provide advice on the market, yacht purchase and sales;
  • Provide immediate/effective response to any issue arising during the sales process;

The required skills and abilities include:

  • Highly motivated, reliable, flexible and eager to learn
  • English mandatory (French advantageous but not required)
  • Excellent knowledge of the superyacht industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Minimum of 5 years’ superyacht sales brokerage experience with history and pattern leading successful yacht sales transactions.

Sound understanding of the yacht sales process and contracts.

Experience conducting condition surveys and sea trials.

This is a shore-based full-time position.

The salary based on experience and qualifications.

European passport/work permit or Monaco residency required
