Head of Brokerage Monaco, Monaco
The Head of Brokerage is responsible for leading and developing the company’s brokerage division across yacht sales, charter, and charter management. This role drives commercial performance, ensures operational excellence, and delivers a seamless, high-quality client experience while aligning brokerage activities with the company’s broader strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Sales, Charter, and Charter Management activities.
- Allocate and oversee broker assignments for company-generated opportunities, central agency listings, and charter management portfolios.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of brokers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align brokerage initiatives with the overall business strategy.
- Contribute to defining and executing the brokerage growth strategy with the executive team.
Operational Excellence
- Establish and enforce clear policies, procedures, and operational standards for all brokers.
- Oversee day-to-day brokerage operations,ensuring efficiency and consistency across all activities.
- Ensure all brokers operate under standardised employment or consultancy agreements with aligned terms and commission structures.
- Drive effective use of the company’s CRM for pipeline management, client tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure a seamless, end-to-end client journey across charter bookings, charter management, and yacht sales.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Own the brokerage P&L, delivering against revenue and profitability targets.
- Define annual revenue objectives and agree on lead-generation and client-retention plans with each broker.
- Lead weekly pipeline review meetings to monitor performance and conversion.
- Implement performance measurement tools, including CRM dashboards and KPI tracking.
- Oversee pricing strategies, contractual negotiations, and commission frameworks.
- Produce regular financial reports, forecasts, and performance updates for senior leadership
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Extensive senior-level experience within the yachting industry.
- Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing brokerage teams.
- Strong expertise across yacht sales, charter, and charter management processes and industry standards.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Deep understanding of global yacht markets and high-net-worth client expectations.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
- Strong conflict resolution skills, including the ability to manage internal and external disputes.
Desirable
- Experience working with industry bodies such as MYBA.
- International experience across multiple markets and time zones.
- Familiarity with legal frameworks and contract management.
- Multilingual capabilities.
