Thea Shaw to oversee Charter Management

Hill Robinson has appointed Thea Shaw to oversee its Charter Management team. She will also serve as Commercial Director at Moravia Yachting, our sister brokerage house in Monaco, leading its Brokerage and Retail Charter teams.

Before joining the Group, Thea was Director of Operations at Nautor Swan Brokerage, where she managed their brokerage and charter teams. She is an active member of both IYBA and MYBA, the associations behind the standard charter agreements across much of the Americas and Mediterranean.

“With more than 16 years of experience in yachting, Thea brings an impressive understanding of the industry, along with a proven ability to lead and develop successful teams,” says Frédéric Dormeuil, Hill Robinson’s Chief Operating Officer. “Her expertise across operations and brokerage makes her ideally placed to strengthen our Charter Management offering at Hill Robinson while driving the continued growth of Moravia’s brokerage activities. Thea credits her early career in shaping how she works with clients.

“Having started my career in private asset management before moving into yachting, I’ve always enjoyed building strong relationships and understanding what really matters to clients,” she explains. “My time in yachting has given me valuable insight into yacht ownership and the importance of trust, transparency, and exceptional service. I’m really looking forward to working with the talented team at Hill Robinson, sharing our experience and building on the great relationships they already have with their owners.”
