Paul Cook joins Hill Robinson as COO
Industry veteran Paul Cook has joined yacht management firm Hill Robinson as COO.
Cook previously managed superyacht marinas and worked with a number of industry firms in their growth and strategy development.
Beginning his career in the Royal Navy, Cook turned his hand to captaincy of superyachts before lending his impressive expertise in organisational leadership to business management on shore.
The role will see him expand the current Hill Robinson team and continue to offer support to its clients in every sector of superyacht ownership and charter. Nick Hill, founding partner of the firm, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Paul Cook to our executive team. Our company has grown substantially and while our core business is yachting and yacht management, our network and understanding spans everything from operational compliance and technical support, to yacht sales and charter. To ensure a seamless client experience, it is imperative that we coordinate the delivery of our services in a manner that meets and/or exceeds expectations. Paul’s operational proficiency and professionalism are sure to help us execute this mission.”
Cook commented, “Having been intrinsically involved in the yachting world for many years, Hill Robinson is a business that I have long admired and respected. It is a pleasure to be joining this industry-leading company in the role of Chief Operating Officer and I look forward to working with the partners and the wider team to provide exceptional levels of service to Hill Robinson clients. To design and build a superyacht, to launch it, run it and maintain it is no small feat — it is an impressive operational achievement in itself. That Hill Robinson can be involved at each stage of this challenging process is something I find extremely exciting.”
