The expertise and capabilities of Hill Robinson and Moravia Yachting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were evident alongside the Kingdom’s grand opening of NEOM’s new luxury island resort and yachting destination, Sindalah.

While Hill Robinson has proven itself as the most reliable company for providing clearance, and provisioning services for visiting superyachts to the Kingdom in recent years, Sindalah’s opening highlighted key achievements:

Hill Robinson recently became the first to be issued a Maritime Tour Operator Licence by the Saudi Red Sea Authority.
Hill Robinson was the first to sign an MOU with NEOM in May last year, allowing our team to handle the clearance of 16 yachts into Sindalah for the resort’s opening event, attended by 60-plus yachts.
Hill Robinson was the first to be issued Saudi Arabia’s ‘Yachts Chartering Licence’, allowing it to represent charter yachts and apply for them to charter in Saudi Arabia.
Hill Robinson was recently retained by NEOM to have the first yacht enter Sindalah waters as an entry and exit destination to test procedures and create a roadmap for best practices in NEOM and the Red Sea.

Located in northwest Saudi Arabia, NEOM’s newest yachting destination encompasses an 86-berth marina and is one in a series of high-end coastal developments in the works in the Kingdom. During Sindalah’s opening event, Hill Robinson Saudi Arabia focused on providing quality agency and concierge services for attending yachts.

Hill Robinson’s Agency Operations Manager Niel Gow said: “We smoothly facilitated the arrival and stay of 16 yachts with an average length overall of 65m, including ensuring the correct documentation for clearance into Saudi Arabia, overseeing crew changes, supplying provisions, and organising bunkering operations.”

The captain of a 100m-plus motoryacht in attendance reflected: “We couldn’t have had a successful call at Sindalah without the outstanding support from Hill Robinson. My guests had a fantastic time and truly appreciated everyone’s efforts in making the trip memorable. Among the positives were the support with deliveries, immigration, and guest logistics.”
