Cannes Yachting Festival wrap-up
The captain and owner of the stunning new 44m M/Y MAVERICK invited our team on board for a viewing at Cannes Yachting Festival.
For Head of Charter Management, Nicolas Fry, stepping on board was like entering a new chapter in the story of luxury yachting. Delivered in April of this year by Cantiere delle Marche, MAVERICK has quickly become the yacht everyone is talking about. From the moment we set foot on her rugged decks, we knew we were experiencing something truly special. With a tough exterior crafted by Hydro Tec and reinforced with ice protection, MAVERICK is built to take on the most extreme environments—and she will, as her German owner prepares for a seven-year global odyssey. Robust, innovative, and purpose-built, MAVERICK sets a new standard for long-range exploration

More than 600 yachts were on display this year, each pushing the limits of design, luxury, and technology. Among the stars was Benetti’s Oasis Series, which redefined luxury living on the water with its expansive, beach club-style decks that extend seamlessly into the sea. A floating terrace of indulgence, it’s no wonder these models became instant favourites.
Seeking the thrills, charter duo Roy and Darina experienced the Tecnomar Lamborghini first hand: Being famously known as Champion Conor McGregor owns one, did you know two models are currently on the charter market for €8,000 a day plus expenses? Biancino 3 (yachtfolio.com)
The Ferretti Group also made a significant splash launching six luxury yachts across their prestigious brands, including Riva, Pershing, and Wally. Many clients were impressed by the INFYNITO 80 model with its eco-conscious materials and new certification technology, Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture, a series of eco-friendly navigation solutions.
Imagine gliding across the seas, powered by an integrated solar energy system and 14 high-density lithium batteries, delivering enhanced power without compromising efficiency. The INFYNITO 80 isn’t just a yacht—it’s a step towards the future of sustainable luxury cruising, and clients left impressed by the potential it offers.
The show was also a stage for Wally, where Wallywhy150 stole the spotlight with its bold design and generous interior spaces. The shipyard’s reputation for blending avant-garde aesthetics with practical innovation continues to lead the innovative deisgn industry.
Sustainability was a dominant theme this year, with yachts like the Sanlorenzo SP92 and the hybrid-powered Azimut Seadeck 7 proving that luxury and environmental responsibility can sail hand in hand. These vessels are perfect for the eco-conscious explorer who still craves the finest life at sea.
Yet the largest yacht at the show, the 45m GO by Tankoa, had everyone talking, even though she wasn’t available for charter. Fortunately for Tankoa enthusiasts, the 49m Vertige, refitted in 2023, offers a dream charter experience in the Mediterranean, available from €270,000 per week plus expenses. Speaking about charter, the 42m Benetti WILLOW was another favourite of our charter team, offering vast spaces and a top-notch crew she is available for charter at €168,000 per week, plus expenses.
